Food insecurity is a serious problem in the Tampa Bay area. This year, the demand for food has doubled, while there has been a 60% reduction in donations. The recent government shutdown had added to this problem. The Port Manatee Propeller Club did their part in helping this dire situation by donating $1,000 to the Harbor Church Food Pantry.
