About the Port of Port Manatee Propeller Club

Locally: 

• We are a supporter of our young people throughout the Tampa Bay Region. We encourage the best and brightest of the Tampa Bay Region to actively pursue their dreams through education by offering $20,000 in scholarships each year.
• We are a supporter of key charity programs both here in the Tampa Bay region and throughout the world. Whether it be lending support for trips to Guatemala to build schools and mentor youth or lending support to programs for mariners from around the world and away from home for months at a time, we stand ready to make someone’s life better with our service.
• We are a great place to market your company or yourself, making new and valuable contacts.
• We are proud to say our chapter was voted Southeast Chapter of the Year for 2019/20.
• And, we are also honored to report Virginia Zimmermann, a past board member, was named Southeast member of the year and the International Member of the Year for 2019/2020.
  

Internationally: 

• Through local work we support many charity programs throughout the world. Whether it be National Maritime Day (May 22) to joining our brethren in supporting the maritime industry and honoring fallen mariners from years past or joining our International Club in their Salute to Congress for the last 35 years.
