The Port of Port Manatee Propeller Club, chartered by the Propeller Club of the United States, is dedicated to the enhancement and wellbeing of all maritime community interests on a local, national and international basis. The club promotes the maritime industry through its many programs and by partnering with similar organizations. Its goal is to educate legislators and the public as to the importance and necessity of all waterborne commerce.
Since 2005, the Port of Port Manatee Propeller Club has established itself with a solid membership serving Tampa Bay’s maritime community.

46th Annual Service of Remembrance for USCGC Blackthorn
At the 46th Annual Service of Remembrance for the USCGC Blackthorn, Port Manatee Propeller Club President Abby Lindecamp and Vice President Matthew Nesselroad presented a wreath to honor the 23 U.S. Coast Guardsmen who lost their lives in the January 28, 1980 tragedy in Tampa Bay.
Propeller Club Responds to Food Insecurity Needs
Food insecurity is a serious problem in the Tampa Bay area. This year the demand for food has doubled, while there has been a 60% reduction in donations.
